I bought a '99 Patriot WT this week and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice for me with regards to operating and maintenance of this machine. I ran wheel boom pull-type sprayer that I built myself until now. It was as simple as simple could be (no rate controllers and such). So this thing is a whole new world to me. What should I be keeping on top of in terms of greasing, fluid changes, crack prone areas, driving habits, etc.?
It has a Raven Auto height, Raven SCS460 rate controller, and an Easyguide 500. I've ran an Easyguide Plus for years, so that part of it should be easy to adapt to, but everything else is new to me. Your thoughts?. As far as owners manual one from a early 3185 will work.

The booms have sensors on the fold out cylinders. And a magnet above them. Either you have a wiring issue, or the sensors/magnets need replaced.

Wen they work it is nice, when they do not work, they tend to creep forward/backward when spraying. I had to run a new live wire to the back one time when mine quit working. Ant electrical issues, I usually would get the dealer to come, because it can be a pain trying to figure out without a diagram. Make sure you change the hydralic oil and hub oil as it says in the manual(every 500hrs). We are going to repack the bearings in our knee joints this spring before we go.
