Hyundai Santa Fe Repair Manual Airbag Removal

 admin

I am on Fire today, posting three in a role. I need to remove the front pillar (A pillar) to organize the power line for the dashboard recorder. It doesn't say an air bag, so I thought it does not have an air bag inside, but it does! I need to get the cord behind it, so I have to remove the plastic cover from the pillar, but there is no screw nor any sign on the surface of plastic indicating the access to the screw.

Yes, I thought too that I have to yank out the plastic, but I don't know how hard of force I can apply to it.

Only reason why I want to remove this cover is to have the wire run behind the airbag, so it doesn't interrupt, if it deploys. Thank you for the tip.
